Our background
We have a background in sailing from yacht repairs and yacht delivery through to teaching, yacht racing and regatta management. We are passionate about our work and are keen to introduce others to a fantastic sport.
Regatta Management
We have been involved in “not for profit” sailing regatta management since 2005. We will be running a number of charity events in 2012 for our charity partners and we have a strong supply base of UK partners who either supply staff or services associated with staging large sailing events.
We also have a strong relationship with Cranfield School of Management with one of our team being a member of the board of Cranfield Regatta Ltd.
Yacht racing
Several of our team have been involved in yacht racing (both IRC and non IRC) in the UK and in the Middle East. We have taken part in both summer and winter race series in the Solent where most of our charity activity employs yachts from 36 to 45ft.
We are currently planning a yacht racing campaign for the RORC 2012 season in the UK and the Caribbean. If you would like to get involved please contact us.
Teaching
Our staff deliver RYA theory courses from Day Skipper to Yacht Master. We also deliver RYA practical sailing courses from Competent Crew to Yacht Master.
We work on both the East Coast and the South Coast of the UK and deliver bespoke training courses for both racing and cruising including tuition for yacht owners who wish to improve their skills on a particular vessel.
