About Us
Our skills are drawn from experience in plumbing and electrical installation and building renovation and construction. Our active interest in ground heat pumps started in 2000 and solar heating panels in 2006. Our approach to designing and installing renewable energy systems is to consider the complete operational life of a design and we will only recommend technologies that are manufactured and supported by large and stable suppliers who manufacture good quality equipment. In our experience all solutions are not the same.

Astute Energy is based near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk and near Chippenham in Wiltshire. We work with suppliers and contractors from all over the UK who are specialists in a range of renewable technologies.
Astute Energy is part of The REAL Assurance Scheme which has been set up by the Renewable Energy Association. It aims to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small generation units for their home, for a community building or for a small business.
Astute Energy is a member of Logic Certification which is a UKAS accredited Certification Body able to offer certification services under the Accredited Certification Scheme ( ACS ) for Domestic Natural Gas, Commercial Natural Gas and Liquified Petroleum Gas ( LPG ), and the OFTEC Oil Scheme.
